Named the “Most Livable City” in America by the United States’ Conference of Mayors in 1993, Scottsdale is home to approximately 245,000 residents and millions of visitors each year.  In addition to its year-round sunshine and majestic mountain scenery, Scottsdale boasts numerous first-class hotels and resorts, lavish golf courses, spectacular hiking trails, incredible dining, upscale shopping and an explosive nightlife scene that keeps party goers out late into the night. 

Adjacent to Phoenix, the fifth largest city in the US, the Scottsdale/Phoenix area is home to four major professional sports teams (Phoenix Suns, Arizona Diamondbacks, Phoenix Coyotes and Arizona Cardinals), as well as spring training for fifteen major league baseball teams.  The PGA Tour also makes a stop in Scottsdale each February, where touring pros compete in the Waste Management Phoenix Open at the TPC Scottsdale. 

Scottsdale is also headquarters to numerous corporations.  Some notable ones include Dial Corporation, Go Daddy, Discount Tire, Taser International, Fender Musical Instruments, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro and Kahala Corp, owner of Cold Stone Creamery.
