More Debt for Scottsdale Schools
Scottsdale school officials are preparing to go back to the public trough in an attempt to finance renovations and improvements in the local school system. Improvements are needed, but perhaps the district could also consider some cost-saving measures as well. We'll see if that's up for discussion.

Apparently, John Baracy, Superintendent of Schools, never
learns. At the point where we have endured interminable discussion on
decreasing school population, the
pigs are going back to the trough.
It is not strange that Manross goes along with this idiocy, since she is also backing the smarmy churches as they strive to put schools in. Of course, knowing that this will be a new profit and power center, irrespective of residential neighbors not wanting these incursions. Manross is above all fair...fund anything that keeps
her in office.
Our clueless Mayor, and
that half the Council that only
fights lap dancing and names of
mediocre Mexican Restaurants, will
back Baracy and the soccer mom/breeders, thinking that this will garner votes.
There is no reason for this debt
to be placed on the taxpayers. There is mandated spending set forth by the state, and anything else is overkill. Speaking of that,
have the city leaders noticed the
number of distressed residents in
Scottsdale?
Get real, you can no longer blame
Dolan for being off the beam.
Steve,
Thanks for your comment.
You're absolutely right. The whole gang is on board and there is definitely not enough debate and discussion around debt financing.
