Scottsdale, Local Tribe Look to Improve Relations

The City of Scottsdale and the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community will try to open lines of communications and improve relations between the two neighbors at a forum on Wednesday. As development along 101 springs to life and the casinos draw in more people everyday, it becomes more and more important that these two economic powerhouses sit at the table and begin to work on shared issues. The forum is a step in the right direction.
