Safer Driving in Scottsdale

Scottsdale is at the cutting-edge of improving highway safety, using high-tech cameras, traffic light sensors and education campaigns to save lives. The city recently received approval for a pilot program that will use cameras on Highway 101 to enforce the speed limit as the road winds through Scottsdale. These types of innovative programs should be welcomed. Not only do they make our families safer, they save law enforcement's time and money so they can focus on more pressing matters such as murder, rape, drugs, etc.
