Scottsdale Real Estate Market Heating Up for Buyers

Evidence abounds that the once red-hot national real estate market is beginning to slow down. Signs are now popping up around town that indicate Scottsdale's white-hot market may also be slowing. Open house signs.

This very normal part of the real estate transaction is once again flourishing in Scottsdale. On an afternoon drive today through central Scottsdale open house signs were literally posted on every corner. There were plenty of lookers - including myself - but apparently not quite as many buyers as there were even 3-6 months ago.

Scottsdale property values will continue to be among the highest in the state. That is a reflection of the excellent quality-of-life here. However, home owners used to ballooning real estate prices should prepare for what is clearly becoming a buyer's market.
